Minera Cuzcatlán pays 764 million pesos in federal and local contributions from Oaxaca


Cuzcatlan Mining Company made the payment of 549 million pesos for federal contributions caused by income taxes, special mining rights and extraordinary mining rights, corresponding to the 2021 fiscal year.

Similarly, the mining company made the payment of 215 million pesos corresponding to royalties to the Mexican Geological Service (SGM).

With the sum of both subscriptions, 764 million pesosthe company said it had accredited its fiscal obligations and also contributes to the national economy and to Oaxaca, where it maintains operations.

The payment of taxes is added to the annual economic income generated by the company in the Central Valleys of Oaxaca and which is around 600 million pesos approximately.

This figure originates from the payment of salaries and benefits of more than 1,200 workerscontracts and agreements with suppliers, more than 130 of Oaxacan originas well as by agreements with communities in favor of social development.
