Health authorities in Mexico reported a cumulative 3 million 844,791 confirmed cases of Covid-19 Since the pandemic began, deaths have reached a total of 291,089.
This implied a daily increase of 217 deaths related to the disease and 3,130 new infections, according to the daily report of the Health Secretary federal.
The entities in which the cases of the new coronavirus have mainly accumulated are Mexico City, the State of Mexico, Nuevo León, Guanajuato and Jalisco.
The trend lines of the indicators contagion and deaths continue at moderate levels compared to those reached in the second and third waves of infections that were faced in the previous months.
For its part, it was reported that 84% of the Mexican population over 18 years of age already has a complete vaccination scheme while the remaining 16% have at least one dose.
