The Health Secretary (Ssa) raised this Friday to 5 million 629,814 the official number of infections of Covid-19 that have been confirmed in our country in the pandemic. Deaths rose to 321,931, according to the report.
The update of the data means that at the cut 4,860 new cases were registered, in addition to 125 new deaths. The incidence rate of confirmed cases in the pandemic is 4,326.7 per 100,000 inhabitants.
There are 15,498 active cases in the country (those who presented symptoms within the last 14 days and are still contagious) with an incidence rate of 11.9 per 100,000 inhabitants. 16,566 active patients are estimated.
The 10 states with the highest incidence rates in the country are Baja California Sur, Aguascalientes, Mexico City (leading in accumulated cases), Tlaxcala, Colima, Veracruz, Sinaloa, Querétaro, Puebla and Campeche
Vaccination
On the daily progress of the National Vaccination Strategy, the government reported that 188 million 160,158 doses of available biologicals have been applied to the cut, with 74 million 496,022 complete schemes.
