The Health Secretary (Ssa) raised this Friday to 3 million 858,831 the total number of cases of Covid-19 that have been confirmed in our country. The official number of deaths, at the cut of information, rose to 292,145, according to the technical report.
The update of the figures means that this Friday the health authorities confirmed 3,837 new infections and 216 new deaths due to coronavirus.
According to official records, in Mexico there are 19,448 active cases (those that presented symptoms in the most recent 14 days and are therefore still contagious), with an incidence rate of 15 patients per 100,000 inhabitants.
The 10 entities with the highest incidence rates are, in order: Baja California, Baja California Sur, Sonora, Coahuila, Mexico City (which leads in the number of active cases), Guanajuato, Chihuahua, Querétaro, Aguascalientes and Yucatán.
