Mexico registers 11 new deaths from Covid-19 in 24 hours


The Health Secretary reported this Monday that the official number of deaths due to the Covid-19 it rose to 322,761, after 11 new deaths were recorded in the last 24 hours. This is the lowest figure recorded since April 2020.

The last time nearly 10 daily deaths were reported from the coronavirus It was April 3, 2020.

However, it should be remembered that the numbers of cases and deaths registered by the health authorities during the weekend are usually lower compared to the rest of the week due to the fact that the health centers take longer to deliver their daily reports. In the past two weeks, the federal agency has twice reported 12 daily deaths (March 14 and 22).

As for the accumulated number of SARS-CoV-2 coronavirus infections, the figure increased to 5,651,553 cases, after 657 new infections were reported.

In the daily technical report on the progress of the Covid-19 epidemic in the country, it is estimated that there are 8,657 active cases nationwide, that is, people who have presented symptoms of this disease in the last 14 days.

Vaccination against coronavirus in Mexico
