Mexico adds 264 new deaths from Covid-19 and 3,556 confirmed cases in the last 24 hours

The Health Secretary reported 264 new deaths to cause of Covid-19Therefore, the death toll since the pandemic arrived in Mexico amounted to 290,374.

In the last 24 hours, the federal agency registered 3,556 new coronavirus infections to register a cumulative of 3 million 834,815 confirmed cases in the country.

In the daily technical report on the progress of the epidemic in Mexico, the health authorities estimate 21,377 active cases, that is, people who showed symptoms of Covid-19 in the last 14 days.

Regarding hospital capacity, the occupancy of general beds increased one percentage point compared to what was reported yesterday, to stand at 18%, while the occupancy of beds with a fan is 16 percent.

The number of people recovered after suffering from this disease amounted to 3 million 198,058, according to the Ministry of Health.

Advancement of vaccination against Covid-19 in Mexico

The federal government highlighted that 84% of the population over 18 years of age in Mexico has already been vaccinated against the coronavirus SARS-CoV-2 with at least one dose.

At the cutoff on Tuesday, November 9, the Ministry of Health reported 312,432 vaccines against Covid-19 applied, to reach 128 million 940,251 doses supplied nationwide.

Of the 75 million 170,848 people inoculated in Mexico, 62 million 684,986 have a complete vaccination scheme with one or two doses depending, while 12 million 485,862 people are waiting for the second dose.
