The independent company hired to carry out the investigations into the collapse of the Mexico City metro, Det Norske Veritas, found four preventive barriers that were absent in the construction and operation of said line.
The first barrier has to do with the design, the second with the work certifications, the third with the installation of bolts and the fourth barrier is the lack of inspections of the elevated section and compliance with the requirements.
