The City of Windsor says greenspace and trails at McKee park will be closed starting May 25 for three to four weeks, but the parking lot and boat launch ramp will remain open.
Crews will remove and replace the asphalt pathways, install three new bench pads, and set concrete footings for eight new decorative light stands.
Work will also be done to improve drainage.
Park users are asked to avoid construction areas.

Once the groundwork is laid, other improvements will follow in phases, including boardwalk and gazebo installation; trails, lighting, silos and benches; and accessible playground installation.
Upgrades will cost an estimated $400,000, with $150,000 from the city’s capital budget, $50,000 from ward funds, and $200,000 from the Gordie Howe International Bridge Company Community Benefit Plan.
