I confess: I was afraid. She had heard so much about the movie that I thought I had seen it thirty times. Despite tremendous efforts to keep me out of the film, spoilers were leaking everywhere. Social media bubbled up, friends couldn’t help but comment on the move, and the media swooped in to post reviews, analyses, comments, and summaries that scratched my will to stay in the dark. I held out as long as I could, but I knew the day would come when I would see ‘Matrix Resurrections’, and become one of those countless voices screaming their emotions into the static void that is the Internet.
