A man was taken to a trauma center Tuesday after being stabbed multiple times in North York, authorities say.
Emergency crews were called to the 400 freeway and Sheppard Avenue West area at 7:50 p.m. to receive reports that someone had been stabbed.

Toronto police said officers arrived at the scene and located a man who suffered stab wounds.
Toronto paramedics said the victim is 60 years old. He was taken to the hospital with serious injuries.
Police said one person is in custody in connection with the incident.
