Man taken to trauma center after being hit by car in Brampton – Toronto | The Canadian News

A man was taken to a trauma center after he was struck by a vehicle in Brampton Tuesday night, authorities said.

Peel Regional Police said emergency crews were called to the airport and Coventry highways area, just south of Queen Street East, shortly before 7 p.m.

Police said there was a collision involving a pedestrian and a vehicle.

Peel’s paramedics told Global News that a man was taken to hospital in serious condition.

The driver of the vehicle remained at the scene, police said.

Drivers are advised to avoid the area as there are road closures.
