A man is in hospital with serious injuries after a gun shot was fired at a residence in the Whalley area of ​​Surrey on Saturday.

Surrey RCMP said it happened shortly before 10 am in the 13700-block of Grosvenor Road.

Saturday officers canvassed the neighborhood and spoke with witnesses. Police believe it was an isolated incident.
