A man is in critical condition after his vehicle crashed into a condo building in Ste-Anne-des-Plaines, near St-Jérôme.
At around 2:52 a.m. Sunday, the local police department received a call about an accident at 33 l’Envol St. When they arrived at the scene, officers found a severely damaged vehicle with a person inside.
Firefighters were called in to remove the driver from his vehicle. The 27-year-old man, a resident of Ste-Anne-des-Plaines, had serious injuries and was taken to hospital.
Police have closed a section of nearby Montée Gagnon street. The cause of the accident is still unknown and an investigation is underway.
