The Saskatchewan RCMP unit for major crimes has arrested a man linked to the death of Deanna Greyeyes.

On November 26, 2018, 66-year-old Deanna Greyeyes deceased was found in a rural area near Muskeg Lake Cree Nation. She was reported missing to the Blaine Lake RCMP a day earlier.

Since then, the Major Crimes Unit has been investigating this case.

On January 28, 2022, officers arrested Stephen David James Greyeyes.

He was charged with:

  • 1 charge of second-degree murder
  • 1 counts unworthiness of a body

Greyeyes will appear in Saskatoon Provincial Court next on 14 February 2022 at 9:30.
