Man charged in connection with Pickering voyeurism investigation, police say | The Canadian News

Durham Regional Police have charged a man in connection with a voyeurism investigation in Pickering, Ontario.

According to a statement released by the service, police were called to a Walmart store on Brock Street in Pickering around 2:15 p.m. on January 4, after a man was discovered videotaping a female customer while wearing the locker rooms.

Police said the suspect was confronted by the victim and her family and said he had deleted photos from his cell phone before fleeing.

However, police added that there were other photos on his phone of other possible victims and are asking for the public’s help in identifying the man.

In an updated statement released Friday, police accused Courtney Finn, 30, of Ajax, of voyeurism. He was released in a company.

Investigators would like to thank the community for their help in this matter and ask anyone who may know more information about this incident to call the police or Crime Stoppers.
