Man arrested in connection with three arson attacks at Laval kindergarten

Laval police announced Wednesday that they made an arrest in connection with a series of fires that were deliberately started over the past three months at a local daycare center.

Last week, police released surveillance video recorded on November 6 showing a person they described as a suspect in the arson at the Les Soleils du monde kindergarten.

Two other fires had been started in August and October.

Jordan Picot Sudano, 24, was arrested on November 20 and questioned by police. He appeared in court in Laval to face arson charges and was released pending his next court appearance on March 9.
