Reported by the cover story of the magazine’s May issue, the Maclean’s Ideas Summit will return on May 2 for an exploration of power in different verticals. Think about hot topics like artificial intelligence, disinformation, and the future of Canadian governance.

Luma, above the TIFF Lightbox, will welcome a lineup of speakers for an evening of compelling conversation. Together, we’ll look at some of the most pressing questions worrying Canadians today. What influences are shaping the country? Where does the true power lie? Who is next when it comes to leadership in Canada?

The evening will begin with an intimate and informative talk moderated by Maclean’s editor Jason Maghanoy. Their topic: How to build lasting power in our communities. 6:30 pm Eastern Time.
