Longueuil Police Search Suspect in Stabbing

Longueuil police have approached the public in an effort to locate a suspect in connection with a stabbing this week at a local business establishment.

Police said the assault took place around 4 p.m. Monday at a business on Breton St. after an altercation sparked. The victim, who is in his 20s, was taken to a Montreal hospital to receive treatment for an upper body injury. Police say they are not afraid for the person’s life.

Police said the suspect fled the scene in a white 2001-2004 Honda Civic with the SIR EP3 license plate.

The suspect is approximately 5 feet 9 inches tall and weighs about 240 pounds.
