LG CEO William Cho announces his company’s priorities for 2022

The new CEO of LG Electronics (LG), William Cho, announced the priorities of that company for the year 2022, with the importance of increasing the added value for the customer and strengthening existing businesses going forward.

In his year-end address, William Cho also expressed his appreciation to LG staff for a successful 2021 that saw many changes and growth amid the challenges of an evolving global market.

“We will do whatever it takes to make management more agile and have the courage to implement new ways to meet the demands of a rapidly changing business environment,” announced Cho.

“Moving forward, we will place a greater emphasis on the overall customer experience with our First, Unique and New concept – three attributes that will stand out in all customer experiences in 2022.”

Customer experience innovations will include additional contact opportunities with even more customers to more accurately predict and respond to new lifestyles and market trends, Cho said.

“We will do this by building on what we have created, strengthening our planning for the future,” continued William Cho.

“Our focus will be on maximizing the growth potential of our existing businesses and viewing each transaction from the perspective of the customer experience.”

William Cho also addressed the ongoing digital transformation in LG’s evolution, reporting that the initiative that started two years ago is now part of all aspects of LG’s business, from planning to operations, increasing efficiency and improving competitiveness. .
