Our city has been affected for several years in a row by horrible floods. The house I have has suffered three major floods in three years. Imagine the increasing insurance premiums that we now have to pay.
Do any of the people in the council vote have basements that flood?
And yes, we have made the backup valve, sump pump, backup battery for pump, interior waterproofing, downspout rerouting.
I think the more $ 8.4 million should go to our faulty sewers.
