Leamington home invasion suspects brandished guns, say OPP

Leamington OPP are investigating a “targeted” home invasion robbery on Monday in which two suspects brandished firearms.

OPP officers responded around 4:20 am on April 4 to a report of a robbery at a residence in the Leamington area.

Police have not disclosed a more specific location for the residence.

Two male suspects, both wearing masks and armed with handguns, entered the garage area of ​​the home.

The garage doors were open at the time.

Surveillance camera images released by OPP show the suspects entering the garage with their weapons drawn and pointed at an adult male.

Police have not released further details about the homeowner or what was taken, but said investigators believe the incident was targeted, and there is no threat to public safety.

One suspect is described as a white male with a skinny build. He appeared to have a beard. At the time of the crime, he was wearing a green jacket and a green face mask.

The other suspect is described as a “non-white” male. He was wearing a black jacket and a black face mask.

Both suspects fled the scene in a dark-colored sedan.
