In his speech during the presentation of the ENIF 2021, the official added that it is also essential to have products suited to the needs and the particular worldview of different market sectors, so having the right distribution channels, he said, is essential.
When making a series of considerations on the matter, he expressed that the reputational issue of financial institutions and their products has been ignored, and is a latent and constant issue that is experienced daily from the Condusef.
He also considered that the issue of remote access points to the financial system weighs less and less, given the massive use of remote means that the health crisis has potentiated, especially in the urban population.
Rosado stressed that although inclusion is fundamental, there must also be information to know how to choose well between the different products.
In this sense, he pointed out that although the transmission of financial education or personal finance content has grown significantly, especially since the pandemic and the exponential growth of products and information through various channels, more coordinated action is required. that seeks a high media impact and depth in its scope with the population.
Financial education at basic level
The president of the Condusef elaborated in this regard that the schooling process of financial education at the basic level has made considerable progress, so there will be a pilot test in Mexico City, in the 2022-2023 school year.
He said that financial education content will be taught in some higher education institutions.
