Former Calgary mayoral candidate Kevin J. Johnston was arrested in Montana on Tuesday after trying to cross the US-Canada border. He did not appear at the Calgary Remand Center to serve a court-ordered sentence. He is being held in the United States until authorities return him to Calgary. Before his arrest, arrest warrants were issued when police were unable to locate him.
