A Kelowna couple got a shock when they had their car invaded and stolen by a drunk, naked man.

The pair were sitting in their vehicle near Apple Bowl Stadium around 6:30 pm Saturday “when an unknown, intoxicated and unclothed man opened the unlocked trunk hatch, jumped in and told them to drive,” said the Kelowna RCMP in a release.
The startled couple drove about a block along Burtch Road before hopping out. The man then jumped into the driver’s seat and took off.
Police spotted the vehicle about 45 minutes later. The alleged carjacker had abandoned it, run through a yard, then tried unsuccessfully to flag down another vehicle.
Mounties flooded the area and found and arrested the man without incident. He is expected to face a charge of theft.
The couple got their vehicle back undamaged and with all their personal property still inside.
