José Cornejo takes the helm of the Single Housing Registry


Jose Ze Gerardo Cornejo Child was appointed as the new head of Unique Housing Registry (RUV), replacing Abril Muñoz Alberich, who was in charge of the organization since 2020.

The Institute of the National Fund for Workers’ Housing (Infonavit), explained that dogwood child He has held positions in the public service as deputy director general of administration and business at the Institute of the National Fund for Workers’ Consumption (Fonacot), as well as legislative advisor and head of Financial Resources at the Río Bravo Basin Organization of the Conagua.

Infonavit mentioned that it works closely with the UVR providing statistical information and data to meet the needs within the housing sector.

“The UVR aims to develop technology that facilitates the integration of the operational processes of the actors in the housing sector, increasing and improving the efficiency of the market, urban planning and sectoral productivity, strengthening people’s access to housing”, it was specified in a statement.

The reasons for the departure of Abril Muñoz, who took the direction of the Unique Housing Registry in July 2020, after the passage of Tonatiuh Suárez Meaney, who was in charge of the organization since January 2019.

Thus, so far this administration, three different directors have been in charge of the UVRa technological platform in which the private sector and government authorities can limit the information corresponding to their activities.

The UVR it emerged in 2006, as part of an Infonavit management with the mission of integrating a housing register for the allocation of credits; however, since 2011 they were separated in order to form a trust, of which the Institute is the trustee, that is, it contributes resources.
