Britpop fans prepare for a dynamite double bill from Mancunian music legends like Johnny Brown and James They will perform at the Queen Elizabeth Theater on September 20.

Marr released Spirit Power: The Best of Johnny Marr last year, which showcased material from his four solo albums. He also published a book titled Marr’s Guitars that documents the instruments he has played over the years, achieving musical milestones with the Smiths, Electronic, Modest Mouse, The Pretenders and more.

James released their 18th album, Yummy, in April and it became the band’s first studio album to reach No. 1 in the UK charts. The group is known for their powerful live performances driven by vocalist Tim Booth.

Atarashii Gakko!

Japanese girl group ATARASHII GAKKO! are turning the traditional J-pop girl group model on its head with their electronically driven mixmaster sound.

The band recently provided a reimagining of the classic Ghostbusters theme for Ghostbusters: Frozen Summer, which could be the highlight of the franchise’s latest film.

The group will play at the PNE Forum on September 26. Tickets go on sale May 10 at 10 a.m. at livenation.com.
