“In some parts of the country, not only in Sinaloa, people are acting, thinking that a region should be taken care of.” This is how President López Obrador justified the highway checkpoint of armed men who detained the press delegation in Sinaloa.
“Nothing happened, nothing happens,” he said, although he accepted that it is wrong that they use weapons and tactical uniforms, but he got irritated when asked if the armed groups no longer control regions of the Republic.
