INAI recognizes the TEPJF for its data transparency practices

The Electoral Court of the Federal Judicial Branch (TEPJF) received, for the second consecutive year by the National Institute of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data (INAI), Recognition of Proactive Transparency for implementing best practices for the identification, generation, publication and dissemination of public information.

Within the framework of the forum called “Challenges and Perspectives of Proactive Transparency for the Construction of More Democratic and Resilient Societies”, the INAI He highlighted the monitoring of the Tribunal’s “Continuous Improvement Program for the Transparency Microsite”, which aims to keep the portal updated to make information that is of public interest available to the public; privilege a clear and simple presentation of information; give greater accessibility.

For the 2021 edition, the Transparency Microsite also created the electronic platforms of the Transparency Unit; the portal for complaints for breach of transparency obligations; the search engines of the Documentary Valuation and Judicial File Valuation Committees, as well as the restructuring of the Personal Data Protection section.

The presiding commissioner of the INAI, Blanca Lilia Ibarra Cadena; the commissioner and coordinator of the Permanent Commission on Access Policies, Open Government and Transparency, Adrián Alcala Mendez, as well as the commissioners Norma Julieta del Río Venegas and Josefina Roman Vergara, delivered said badge to the general director of Transparency, Access to Information and Protection of Personal Data of the TEPJF, María Teresa Garmendia Magaña, who attended on behalf of the Electoral Tribunal.

Finally, the INAI invited the TEPJF to continue strengthening the practices and actions for the construction of public knowledge, with a view to advancing and progressively consolidating a comprehensive policy of proactive transparency linked to electoral justice issues.
