Provincial police in Essex County are investigating after human remains were reportedly found in Kingsville Tuesday.
Police said officers responded around 2 pm to a report of human remains found by an excavation crew working in Kingsville. OPP are now working with the coroner’s office and a forensic anthropologist, officials said in a statement.
Police investigators said they believe it is an isolated incident with no ongoing risk to public safety. The investigation is ongoing.
