A police source has confirmed the parents of the deceased woman have arrived in the city.

An acquaintance of the hit-and-run victim told the toronto sun that the woman’s parents “are devastated.”

The collision happened at 3:16 am last Thursday in the Fashion District — near Spadina Ave. and King St. W.

The woman was on the southbound lanes of Spadina when the car hit her at a high rate of speed, according to police.

Investigators have described the vehicle as a white, 2019, or newer, Mercedes AMG GT convertible with a red interior and convertible top.

“It had the roof folded down at the time of the collision and will have noticeable damage to the front end,” police have said.

The driver — visible in an image released by police — is described as a man with dark hair.

Police are asking anyone with any information to contact investigators.

Officers, meanwhile, are encouraging the driver to contact a lawyer and turn himself in.
