Hamilton Tiger-Cats host Roughriders in regular season finale – Hamilton | The Canadian News

A week after losing a pivotal game in Toronto, the Hamilton Tiger-Cats will attempt to close out the regular season and enter the CFL playoffs on a high note when they host Saskatchewan on Saturday afternoon.

The Ticats (7-6) missed a chance to claim first place in the East Division after losing 31-12 last week to the Toronto Argonauts.

A win against the Roughriders, or a Montreal loss to Ottawa on Friday night, would secure a playoff game at home for Hamilton on Nov. 28 against the Alouettes.

Days after kicker Taylor Bertolet was released, Hamilton will start Michael Domagala, who has not played since Sept. 22.

Domagala has made four of six field goal attempts this season, but has also missed two extra point shots, including a possible tie trade against Toronto in a 17-16 loss to the Argos.
