Burton Ettinger Elementary has had four notifications of exposure to COVID-19 since last Thursday. On Sunday, new restrictions were introduced at the school, including limiting non-essential visitors and limiting extracurricular activities.

“In recent days, the regional health medical officer has been monitoring the cases in Burton Ettinger and is recommending closure to prevent further spread,” said Dr. Shelley Deeks, Nova Scotia’s deputy chief medical officer for health, in a statement from press. shipped Tuesday night.
