Police in Guelph, Ontario, spent Wednesday touring the city’s Onward Willow neighborhood after receiving a call about someone carrying a gun.
A police spokesman did not say the type of weapon, but said the person was reportedly seen just before 8:30 a.m. in the Willow Road and Bagot Street area.

“Officers have been surveying the area, but at this time they have found nothing to corroborate that information,” said spokesman Scott Tracey.
The investigation continues.
