Girl attacked by pack of dogs in Manitoba First Nation – Winnipeg | The Canadian News

Mounties says a seven-year-old girl is in hospital after she was attacked by a pack of dogs at a Manitoba First Nation.

The RCMP says the boy was attacked Sunday morning at Shamattawa First Nation, about 750 kilometers northeast of Winnipeg.

She was taken to a hospital in Winnipeg with serious injuries.

The mounted ones say that the animals do not belong to anybody, reason why no crime was committed.

The remote community has previously dealt with attacks on children by stray dogs.

In 2013, a six-year-old boy was seriously injured.
