France will support Finland and Sweden in case of aggression; after announcement about joining NATO

“Any state that intends to put European solidarity to the test by threatening or attacking its sovereignty by any means must be certain that France will stand by its side. Finland Y Sweden“, wrote the French presidency in a statement.

“France reaffirms its commitment, by virtue of article 42.7 of the Treaty of European Unionand is ready to strengthen defense and security cooperation with these two partners, through high-level strategic consultations and greater military interaction,” the Elysee added.
