Four teenagers are in police custody for allegedly stealing a high-end car at gunpoint.

Peel police said an Alfa Romeo was stolen on Chinguacousy Road and Earlsbridge Boulevard in Brampton.

Four men with a gun reportedly approached the owner and then drove off in the new vehicle.

However, due to the vehicle’s security technology, the police were able to trace his whereabouts.

Police said the car was tracked to North York, where Toronto police stopped it and arrested four men inside.

Officers also seized a loaded pistol and drugs.

Police are investigating whether this group of young people is responsible for other vehicle thefts in recent months.
