Four Essex County Drivers Arrested on Impairment Charges Over the Weekend

The Essex County OPP arrested four drivers with alcohol-related crimes over the weekend – three involved collisions.

Police say that around 6:30 a.m. Friday, the Leamington OPP responded to a three-vehicle accident on County Road 14 in Leamington. A 29-year-old Kingsville resident was charged with operation while intoxicated: alcohol and drugs, and had a blood alcohol concentration of more than 80.

The second incident occurred in the city of Essex around 11am on Friday. Police responded to a single vehicle collision in the ninth concession. Following the investigation, a 28-year-old from Harrow was charged with operation while intoxicated (alcohol and drugs and operation while intoxicated) blood alcohol concentration (more than 80).

The following drunk driving incident involved another car accident on County Road 22 in Lakeshore.
