Four cast members are leaving ‘Saturday Night Live,’ here’s what fans are saying


When fans learned comedy sketch show ‘Saturday Night Live’ was losing four star cast members, they took to Twitter to comment on the comedians’ careers.

Cast members Pete Davidson, Aidy Bryant, Kate McKinnon and Kyle Mooney are reportedly leaving the show after its 47th season finale on Saturday. McKinnon and Bryant have been on the show since 2012, Mooney since 2013 and Davidson since 2014.

Washington Post associate editor Jonathan Capehart tweeted he was sad to see the four go.

East Vancouver-based physician Dr. Birinder Narang said in a Tweet he was sad to see McKinnon’s time at the show come to an end.

“Kate McKinnon was the best part of SNL — hands down,” journalism adviser at New York University Alexis Benveniste said on Twitter.

Other fans also tweeted about McKinnon’s time on “Saturday Night Live.”

TikTok creator Brooke Averick tweeted about Mooney leaving.
