Donald Trump lashes out at suggestions the GOP is turning him down because of the Jan. 6 insurrection as the House Select Committee presents a detailed account of what led up to and followed the attack on Congress.

On Sunday, Trump took aim at conservative columnist Peggy Noonan and said he doesn’t understand her base and her politics.

In a statement released through his Save America political action committee, the former president said: “I listen to all these dumb (stupid!) people, often living in a bygone era, like the weak and frail RINO, Peggy Noonan , who did much less of Ronald Reagan than she claims, and who actually said bad things about him and his ability to speak.”

Trump was responding to an article Noonan wrote in the Wall Street Journal on Thursday that “both parties are rejecting their leaders, Donald Trump and Joe Biden. They’re both going around.”

In a clip shared by documentary filmmaker Alex Holder on January 6, former President Donald Trump can be seen fretting over a glass of water on camera.

The so-called “blank check” company behind former President Donald Trump’s Truth Social platform now appears to be the subject of an investigation by federal prosecutors looking into whether the company or its executives violated federal securities laws.

Shares of Special Purpose Acquisition Company, known as Digital World Acquisition Corporation, fell 9 percent in early trading Monday after CEO Patrick Orlando filed a statement with the Securities and Exchange Commission to say the company, seeking to merge with the former president’s Trump Media and Technology Group, was subpoenaed by a federal grand jury in the Southern District of New York.
