What do they say?: “I think the Taliban who won the war in Afghanistan, and then the way our exit happened, has absolutely inspired jihadists around the world,” Morell said on the “Face the Nation” program.
- “The Taliban are saying, we just don’t defeat America, we defeat NATO. We defeated the greatest military power in the world ”, he added.
- “I believe that not only the jihadists will be inspired, but many of them will come to Afghanistan to be part of the celebration,” he concluded.
