Formal employment gave a boost to the labor market in October

After the months of August and September, when there were losses in the total of jobIn October 2021, 384,000 more informal jobs and 867,000 more formal jobs were registered, according to figures from the National Survey of Occupation and Employment (ENOE) of the Inegi.

This rebound in the working market was driven mainly by independent work, in the service sector, in line with the almost total reactivation of social, entertainment and commercial activities in much of the country. Only the heading of business and services recorded 83% of these jobs.
