Bolts
Josh Allen, quarterback, BUF
249 passing yards, 2 TDs, 55 rushing yards, 1 TD, 29.4 points.
He has been an absolutely dominant fantasy player in his last three games, averaging 31.8 points.
Michael Carter, RB, New York
77 rushing yards, 95 receiving yards, 1 TD, 27.7 points.
After posting two weeks in a row of more than 12 points, the Jets rookie exploded for the best game of his young career.
Joe Mixon, RB, CIN
33 rushing yards, 58 receiving yards, 2 TDs, 23.1 points.
He averaged a meek 2.3 yards per carry, but his total was bolstered by his work in the passing game.
AJ Brown, WR, TEN
155 receiving yards, 1 TD, 26.5 points.
After his hamstring injury earlier in the season, there’s no question that Brown is at 100% now.
Michael Pittman Jr., WR, IND
86 receiving yards, 2 TDs, 25.6 points.

His 15 goals and 10 receptions were season highs for the Colts’ best receiving option.
TJ Hockenson, TE, DET
89 yards received, 13.9 points.
He had his best yardage total since Week 1 and led the Lions in every receiving category.
Philadelphia Eagles DEF
6 points allowed, 6 sacks, 1 fumble recovered, 1 TD, 21 points.
He had Jared Goff under pressure all day, which usually leads to bad games for the veteran quarterback.
Zane González, K, CAR
4 GF, 1 PAT, 17 points.
CLOTHING
Jalen Hurts, QB, PHI
103 passing yards, 71 rushing yards, 11.2 points.
The Eagles ran the ball so effectively, scoring 44 points, that they didn’t really have to pass.
David Johnson, RB, HOU
4 rushing yards, -1 receiving yards, 0.8 points.
I’m not sure why we were expecting anything else at this point from the vet flushed.

Damien Williams, RB, CHI
-3 rushing yards, -0.3 points.
He left the game with a knee injury, but it was obvious that Khalil Herbert was the Bears’ defender.
Kenneth Gainwell, RB, PHI
27 rushing yards, 2.7 points.
He led the Eagles’ RB trio in touches with 13, but had the fewest yards and was the only one not to score a TD.
Russell Gage, WR, ATL
0 receptions, 0 points.
You would have thought that Calvin Ridley’s absence would help Gage, but he didn’t even see a single target.
Emmanuel Sanders, WR, BUF
0 receptions, 0 points.
After scoring in double digits for four straight games, Sanders failed to catch all four of his targets.
Kyle Pitts, TE, ATL
13 receiving yards, 2.3 points.
He tied for the team lead in goals with six, but had the worst game of his career.

I hope you start
If you were to have us guess which quarterback had the most passing yards in week 8 after the afternoon game roster, you probably would have guessed about 20 different players before getting the answer. Jets quarterback Mike White threw for 405 yards in his first career start, surprisingly leading New York to an upset victory over Cincinnati.
After averaging just 13.3 fantasy points in his first five starts of the season, few would have expected Jimmy Garoppolo to explode for 27.2 points against a decent Bears defense. Although he didn’t pitch for a TD, he has a season high in passing yards and ran on a touchdown.
