WHY WATCH?
Yes, it sounds like a broken record about Auston Matthews breaking records, but if he comes back from a one-game maintenance break in full health he can become Toronto’s first-ever 60-goal man. Stuck on 58 the past few days, he’d like to set it at home prior to a three-game Southern road trip. The Metro’s last-place Flyers continue to leak, giving up four and an empty netter to Buffalo on Sunday. Martin Jones likely starts in net.

THREE THINGS ABOUT THE FLYERS
1. Big night for Flyer forward Morgan Frost. The 2017 first-rounder plays his first NHL game in Toronto with proud father Andy, the former Air Canada Center announcer and local radio personality in the house. COVID-19 has delayed this event a couple of years.
2 Philly coach Mike Yeo said it all last week as the skid continued and they fell to third-worst in the league when behind a goal or two in a game: “We can’t be a team that just (says) that we worked hard, and that’s great. We have to be able to win when the other team scores first, too.”
3. The Leafs put four past the Flyers in the third period April 2 at Wells Fargo Center, the springboard for a great Toronto road trip through Florida. The Leafs are looking to repeat that this week, though Ivan Provorov had a three-point night last time.
