The police seized five long guns during an operation carried out on Monday in Carignan, Montérégie.
The search took place in a residence on rue Jean-Vincent. On the spot, the Richelieu-Saint-Laurent police officers found five long guns, ammunition, as well as chargers.
Police say they are still investigating the case and criminal charges are expected shortly.
