A large fire on Boxing Day kept firefighters busy for quite some time in Lethbridge County.
Coaldale and District Emergency Services (CDES) posted on their Facebook page Sunday morning saying their teams were tackling a “large residential structure fire” around 10:30 am.
An extreme cold warning covering all of Alberta led to firefighting challenges according to CDES.
Picture Butte Emergency Services along with Lethbridge Fire and Emergency Services provided mutual aid.
At 4:30 pm, the CDES said that “all teams” had returned to the hallways.
