Fire is registered in the cooling tower of Pemex’s Cadereyta refinery

A fire broke out on Friday in a cooling tower of the refinery in Cadereyta of the Mexican state oil company Pemex, in the north of the country, with no injuries so far, said a company source.

The source said that the fire occurred in an engine in the refinery cooling tower, which has a processing capacity of 275,000 barrels per day (bpd) and is located on the outskirts of the industrial city Monterrey.
