A 24-unit apartment building was engulfed in flames Saturday night on Lesieur St. in St-Jean-sur-Richelieu.
The big fire broke out around 5:00 p.m. According to information published on the Facebook page of the city of St-Jean-sur-Richelieu, “the building was quickly evacuated, so there were no injuries. The Red Cross is on the spot and the affected families have been taken care of”.
On its Facebook page, the city indicated that the origin of the fire is still unknown and that the investigation will be forwarded to the St-Jean-sur-Richelieu police.
