The president of INE, Lorenzo Córdova, said that one week before the vote, that institute has everything ready for the consultation to be carried out with legality, certainty, transparency and trust. He indicated that 287,000 citizens will be officials in the 57,517 polling stations that will be installed on April 10. He added that 52 observers from 18 countries will verify the legality of the consultation day. He pointed out that a quick count will be carried out on Sunday night with a sample of 1,800 boxes to give preliminary results.

He indicated that the revocation consultation is going, “despite the repeated attempts of some political actors to hinder and hinder the good development of this good exercise by denying the INE the necessary resources, challenging again and again all the important decisions that have been made, and also violating in a way the rules that they themselves established in the Constitution and in the law.
