Regarding Mexico City and the metropolitan area, CBRE indicated that during 2021 of the total industrial demand, 80% corresponded to the expansion of logistics operations in Mexico City and the metropolitan area.

In terms of construction, the projects in the northern part of the metropolitan area behaved favorably. “The inventory registered 9.46 million square meters at the end of the last quarter of 2021, which represented an increase of 4.7%”, highlighted CBRE.
