EU Juez approves Aeroméxico restructuring plan

A United States council has approved the plans for the restructuring of Aeroméxico when it is clear that the airline agrees with the rest of the agreements that have been raised in the scheme.

The approval of the plan allows Aeroméxico, one of the top three Latin American airliners to be declared during the coronavirus pandemic, to complete the restructuring process, which took place in June 2020.

“There will be no more complacency in declaring that the reorganization plan has been confirmed,” said United States Secretary of State Shelley Chapman.

Aeroméxico’s actions will cost 17% the quarters, although these gains will not necessarily reflect the agreement with the approvers and the final approval, which is produced when the market is close to closing.

The plan provides for new capital gains in Aeroméxico.

Apollo Global Management, a frequent investor in hardships, will be the majority shareholder. It is hoped that Delta Air Lines, the current shareholder, will have a 20% stake in the company once the plan is implemented.

The victims were arrested and the firemen received the support of a group of minor creditors who were involved in what was considered an excessively beneficial deal for Delta and some Mexican individual investors.
